Dr. Dan Innis ascends to LCRNH chair.
Dr. Daniel Innis was voted in last night as the new Chairman for Log Cabin Republicans, New Hampshire Chapter. Dr. Innis is currently on the National Log Cabin Board, was a past NH State Senator, and ran for Congress. He was the former Dean of the Paul College at UNH and is currently a Professor of Marketing and Hospitality at The University.
Dan brings with him a long list of folks in Concord that have been great supporters and allies of Log Cabin.
He pledges to continue to work to open minds and make friends in the NHGOP that will eventually lead to more inclusive changes in the State GOP Platform.
Jim Morgan surprised the board with his resignation stating the following :
““ I am not leaving the board or the cause, I am simply allowing others to step up with new ideas and new direction,” Morgan said.
”I am a strong believer in term limits and that is no different for Chair (LCRNH) [sic]” Great organizations are built on changing ideas and fresh leadership. Dan will take this group to new levels as I have; we’re a team, not a cabal.””
